Refund & Return Policy

At AKM Seafoods, we are committed to providing high-quality seafood, both raw and cooked, with fast delivery. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we have specific guidelines for refunds and returns. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return Policy

Due to food safety regulations, we do not accept returns for any seafood products once delivered. However, if you receive a damaged or spoiled item, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement (see Section 2).

2. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds or replacements under the following conditions:

  • Damaged Packaging: If the seafood arrives in a damaged or compromised package.
  • Spoiled or Incorrect Product: If the product is spoiled upon arrival or differs from what was ordered.
  • Missing Items: If an item is missing from your order.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Notify Us Within 2 Hours of Delivery: Due to the perishable nature of our products, all refund requests must be made within 2 hours of receiving the order.
  2. Provide Proof: Send clear photos of the damaged or incorrect item, along with your order number, to [Insert Email/WhatsApp Number].
  3. Resolution: We will review your request and respond within 24 hours with a decision. If approved, we will offer a refund, replacement, or store credit.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • If the product was stored improperly after delivery.
  • If the customer changes their mind after delivery.
  • If a refund request is made after the 2-hour time frame.
  • If an incorrect address was provided and delivery failed.

4. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
  • Refunds for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be issued as store credit or a bank transfer (if applicable).

5. Order Cancellations

  • Before Dispatch: Orders can be canceled within 30 minutes of placement for a full refund.
  • After Dispatch: Once an order is out for delivery, cancellations are not allowed.
